Biography
Hello! I’m Mingye Xie, a Research Specialist at the Student Innovation Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I also hold earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from SJTU.
My research focuses on Embodied AI, Multimodal Foundation Models, and Embedded Systems — with a particular focus on building embodied agents and multimodal interaction systems for edge-computing scenarios. My current work is hands-on with the Orange Pi platform and the LeRobot SO-ARM101 robotic arm. I have published over 10 papers in SCI/CCF-indexed journals and conferences, and hold several licensed patents.
On the teaching side, I offer undergraduate courses including AI1101 AI-Driven Interactive Technologies and SI1216 Computer Engineering Practice. I am deeply committed to bridging cutting-edge research with practice-oriented education, and my courses have consistently received top-tier A0/A1 student evaluations.

研究方向聚焦具身智能、多模态大模型及嵌入式系统开发，重点围绕香橙派计算平台与LeRobot机器人框架，探索面向边缘场景的具身智能体构建与多模态交互系统。已发表SCI/CCF论文十余篇，获多项授权专利。
主讲《人工智能交互技术》《计算机工程实践》等本科生课程，注重将前沿技术演进深度融入实践教学，课程连续获评A0/A1级最高评价。
